Polygon, in collaboration with elizaOS and their groundbreaking eliza Agentic Framework, is proud to announce the elizaOS AI Agent Grants Program. With 1M POL in funding, this program is designed to empower developers and innovators to explore the limitless potential of onchain AI agents. Eliza’s agentic framework offers a versatile platform for building autonomous, intelligent, and impactful agents that transcend traditional boundaries.

Goals of the Program

  1. Drive Innovation in AI Agents: Inspire the creation of groundbreaking AI agents that redefine interactions, applications, and utility onchain.

  2. Expand the Agentic Ecosystem: Support diverse, creative, and impactful ideas within the Polygon and broader blockchain ecosystem.

  3. Foster Decentralized AI: Encourage the development of agents that leverage the Eliza framework to promote autonomy and decentralization.

  4. Incentivize Agent Tokenomics: Highlight projects that incorporate innovative token-based ecosystems for sustainable growth and functionality.

Guidance for Applicants

The elizaOS AI Agent Grants Program welcomes unique and innovative ideas across the spectrum of agentic development. Here are some interesting spaces to explore:

  • Decentralized Finance (DeFi): Agents optimizing yield strategies, managing DAOs, or enabling autonomous financial operations.

  • Onchain Social Ecosystems: Agents facilitating decentralized interactions, communities, or personal engagement at scale.

  • Gaming and Virtual Economies: Autonomous NPCs, in-game decision-making agents, or agents managing tokenized economies.

  • Infrastructure and Ecosystem Tools: Agents enhancing blockchain infrastructure, network optimization, or cross-agent communication.

  • Creative and Experimental Applications: Agents exploring art, content creation, or other avant-garde use cases.

Note: These categories are just starting points. If your project does not fall within these idea repositories but pushes the boundaries of what’s possible with agentic systems, we encourage you to apply.


Program Details

Eligibility

  • Open to developers, teams, and organizations worldwide.

  • Projects must leverage the Eliza Agentic Framework.

  • Must be deployed or planned for deployment on the Polygon network.

Grant Timeline

  • Application Opens: 14-Jan-25

  • Application Deadline: 14-Feb-25

  • Review Period: 15-Feb to 25-Mar

  • Announcement of Grantees: 01-Apr

  • Project Milestones & Disbursement: Ongoing from 01-May onwards

Evaluation Criteria

  1. Innovation and Creativity (20%)

    • How novel and impactful is the project idea?

    • Uniqueness in leveraging the Eliza framework.

  2. Technical Feasibility (20%)

    • Clear technical roadmap and implementation plan.

    • Effective use of Polygon’s blockchain features.

  3. Onchain Utility and Impact (20%)

    • Potential to demonstrate measurable onchain benefits.

    • Viability of launching agentic tokenomics and scaling adoption.

  4. Team Capability (20%)

    • Expertise and track record in delivering complex projects.

    • Adequate resources to execute within proposed timelines.

  5. Market Potential (20%)

    • Addressable market size and scalability.

    • Alignment with the broader goals of Polygon and elizaOS.
